Friday Quote (on Saturday)

Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves like locked rooms and like books that are written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will find them gradually, without noticing it, and live along some distant day into the answer~Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet~

I like this bcz it speaks of the process. Some people we come in contact with seem in such a hurry to be healed and set free - the worthy and necessary goal - without allowing the time necessary to get better. Others we come in contact with indicate(in so many words) that WE should be much better by now. Sometimes WE feel we should be better by now.

The process truly is the key- changing the face of God from the ugly snarl as the abuser paints it to the true face of God's grace is a journey.
