Friday Quote (on Sunday)
Independence Day
as sung by Imani Coppola
I live here in exile
my home is not my heart
they're miles and oceans apart
so I long for the mountains
beyond the grey city walls
I pray tonight they'll fall
then the sun will shine on me
send the light and set me free
I'll be off and on my way
on my Independence Day
all the songs I could not sing
and all the words I could not say
I'll be shouting everything on my Independence Day
as sung by Imani Coppola

A Helpful Post From Tales From The Crypt Blog
An informative post from Tales From The Crypt blog:
The 'Superior Leader Trap'
"To look objectively and critically at the cult, experience, the ex-member needs to gain freedom from the "superior leader trap." As indicated earlier, this trap is sprung if there is criticism or questioning of the leader's actions and directives. Basically, it takes the following form: The Leader operates on a higher plane than you or I. Because of that, we are not able to judge the rightness or wrongness of his or her actions. Ordinary, conventional standards do not apply here."

Extra Friday Quote
What saves a man is to take a step. Then another step. It is always the same step, but you have to take it.

Friday Quote
There are joys which long to be ours. God sends ten thousands truths, which come about us like birds seeking inlet; but we are shut up to them, and so they bring us nothing, but sit and sing awhile upon the roof, and then fly away.
